Bamburgh and Bamburgh Castle

Few castles can rival the setting of Bamburgh on the magnificent Northumberland coastline. The 11th century castle was badly damaged during the Wars of the Roses and then fully restored in the late 19th century. Today it houses an excellent collection of arms and artwork.
