Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, Brussels, Belgium

Pictures of Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, Brussels, Belgium.

The twin towered cathedral was named after the two patron saints of Brussels.

Its construction began in 1226 and was completed 300 years later.

Its interior is quite simple, due to a historic plundering by Protestants in the 17th century, and then again, by the French army later.
