Medieval Flemish Buildings, Brugge / Bruges, Belgium
Bruges in Belgium is the most perfectly preserved medieval town in Europe.

For those of you who have visited Bruges you will know why I like and if you haven't, you should take the time to discover this excellent short break destination.

It has everything - its compact, fully of history with original15th century Flemish buildings, canals, chocolates, handmade lace, great food, and of course the shopping.

The quaint houses and decorated facades have given Bruges the fitting title of The Venice of the North.
