Photographs of Boston Public Garden, Boston, Massachusetts.

The Boston Public Garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden, begun in 1859.

Featuring elegant Victorian flower beds, weeping willows and a lake where swan-shaped boats drift lazily in the summer.

The park is home to the Make Way for Ducklings sculpture. The Mrs. Mallard and her 8 ducklings sculpture is based on the drawings of Robert McCloskey who wrote the 1941 children's classic Make Way for Ducklings, set in the Public Garden.
