Bradford on Avon

Bradford on Avon is one of England's prettiest stone small towns. The main bridge crossing the River Avon dates from the 17th century. A tall but tiny saxon church rescued from obscurity here in the 19th century has turned out to be one of the most important buildings of its age in Britain. The town is also home to an 14th century tithe barn and the Kennet and Avon Canal loops around the town.
